Burning off engine oil

I'm about 1500 miles into my new oil and I've notice that the level has gone from perfectly in between the two dots to just above the bottom dot. I have driven spiritedly on several occasions and was wondering if that causes oil to burn off? No leaks are anywhere that I can see. Thanks

some of the 5.0's burn oil at 1st....KEEP AN EYE ON IT. The majority it stops around 10K but check it often.

Yes.
Your engine will use more oil during "spirited" driving than it will under normal conditions.

I had this problem with my new gt. It stopped after the first oil change at 3500 miles.
