That is really good. However, how is that AM's fault and or duty to do that?

It's not. Good point. Seems like RTR didn't do a thing.

It's not. He told me that he was looking for more parts and that he usually shops with AM so I arranged a credit for him.

Well then I may purchase an RTR decklid at some point. But, I'm doing suspension first.

It's on the car now, so I'm
not really going to be able to get good pics of it. But it's the same as others, paint peeling/bubbling around edges, and it doesn't sit flush around the edge where it meets the top corner of the tail light. Water is currently getting in. Looks like it was dropped directly on that edge. I'll send an email if necessary. It's going into the body shop on Monday to be fixed.

They provided the funding to AM for the credit. I didnt even buy it through AM but I told them that is where I like to buy everything I can. Because I requested it RTR gave AM the money for me to have the credit there. That way I don't have to buy RTR but rather I can buy anything on AM I want with it.

Sexy. Get my replacement on Monday. Will probably install it on Tuesday!

Also, what did you do to your tail lights to black out the outlining brake lights? Do they still light up normally when you have your lights on/hit the brakes? I wanna do that to mine!

That is sick. What exactly did they spray them with? I wanna know what I'd ask my local body shop to do if I go this route. Looks awesome. All the blinkers etc. shine through too?

Yep everything shines through. Not road legal but hey a good bit of our aftermarket parts arent! Its basically black mixed with clear. Not sure of the ratio but much more clear than black. Or any color you want I suppose.

Will do. Car goes in tomorrow. I was waiting to see it with the GT wing. That pic did it for me. Also about to pic up a boss rear diffuser to complete the look.

Each pic is a diff spot.

Luckily, I'm extremely busy at the moment so my patience is still relatively calm lol. I'll wait for Jess to see my e-mail and go from there.

Only problem I see now is that I can officially post some blame towards American Muscle because Jess told me that he told AM to open it and make sure it was 100% good before sending it out (and based on the way it was taped compared to my original one, AM MUST have opened it). The fact that they thought this was good enough... I'm more mad at AM than RTR for this one lol. Cuz ultimately, they sent it to me after having supposedly looked at it.

Arghhh...yeah but dude, there's no excuse to get a second flawed decklid either. I don't know where they're messing up in production, but it's unacceptable. Hopefully, the third time is a charm. Brought my car into the body shop today.
