Mine came too. Still has the crayola looking touch ups on it. I hope that I don't have to triple tape this one to get it to go on.

My issue was the tape wasn't tall enough to pass the lip on these things.

So... Did they produce enough to meet the demand of the preorders? Or are y'all just the lucky first ones?

Yep just double stacked the tape. Had some extra 3m tape at the house just like what they provided.

That's what I did too. I'm thinking about just keeping my messed up one on the car. You can see the blemishes. Im.just worried about rust really. If any steel is exposed it's going to rust.

RTR decklid purchased!

I can't wait to see the car once it's done. I told my body guy about the fitment issues and he said he'd take care of it. My issue is also with the rust :/

Went to the body shop today. Decklid looks awesome. It was reshaped properly, primed, and painted, not powder coated. Will be going back onto the car tomorrow and I'll have the car back. Picks to follow

Good news for you! I'm still waiting for a response from Jess. I'll probably forward that same email to AM in a few minutes to see if I can get the ball rerolling.

I'm assuming Jess must be busy with SEMA this week. poop timing for me lol

Yeah he told me to email once I paid for the bill of the car. I'm assuming all I'll get is store credit from BBR, or a company of my choosing. Which isn't bad but I'd rather just have the bill paid. It won't be much.

Another thing to take into consideration is the paint is over a year old on the car, the bumper is plastic while the lid is sheet metal, and the paint on the lid is brand spankin' fresh. I wasn't expecting a 100% perfect match. However, the good news is Jess from RTR jut got back to me immediately after I emailed him and he said all would be rectified on Monday. I'm a happy customer as of right meow

Here's some unfiltered shots DiE. Also the concavity of the lid may be throwing us both off as well.

OK, redid mine a little. Matte Black RTR deck lid. Glossy black horse. Did matte tint on inner lights, left inner rim shinny, matte tint on outer lights and MMD matte black light surrounds. Little hard to see contrast in photo but thoughts?

Thanks. Thats what I love about Stangs and the community. I go one direction and (IMO) looks good going with my all dark stealthy theme. You go White, Body collor and looks great. All make them our own yet appreciate everything each other does. Wow, kinda sound like a Hippy so to end this rant I'll say except when somone ricer's a Stang. Thats just wrong lol

Lol, you're absolutely right Naples. Far too often on forums, there's just nothing but bashing, and arguing. I see it a little bit here, but for the most part here is definitely a good group of guys and gals here. And yeah it was a huge toss up as to what I was going to do. In the end, I think a respray of gloss black would be boring. I like how the white accentuates the tail lights. I have a boss rear diffuser coming in today, so it'll look like an entirely different beast and I'm pumped. I think the camaraderie with mustangs in unlike any other vehicle. Unless your car is donked with 30" wheels, altezzas, and vinyl graphics all down the side, chances are, I'm going to appreciate it. I'm also happy people are happy with this product, even being fixed on our own dimes for the time being.

Ahhh my eyes to much white! Lol jkjk

Came out good man! Would have a different look with the rear diffuser. Have you thought about changing that rear spoiler?

Lol Vic. Yeah, diffuser goes on this weekend. And I definitely plan on stepping up to a bigger spoiler. The pre-painted "duck bill" spoiler from AM interests me. Kind of wanna stay away from the shelby or anything of the like because it's just too common of an upgrade. I like being different with my cars.

I was thinking about getting the shelby tail, but its to common. So, I'll be getting the GT/CS from AM, unpainted though. Getting the base painted black or matte black and the top race red (haven't seen one like that). I was looking at the duck bill one but its not for me; I don't like it. And I completely agree with you, we should always try and give our cars a "personal" touch.

That would look sick with the red. I'm already envisioning it. I thought about doing a white and red theme (stripes, mirror caps) but I didn't go that route. We'll see when it comes time to buying a wing. I keep telling myself "this is the last part for the year." And I keep buying more crap lol.

My car is silver, and I'm really thinking hard about going your route, Naples. Not sure if it would look as good being body-color in silver as it does in white. Looks like it was meant to be white - but the matte black matches my scheme - and looks great btw. Was even leaning towards those same louvers (great minds think alike, huh?).
I've already decided to eventually go with GT500 valence and quads - I think they would look awesome together.

Great job guys - they all look great.

Thanks brother. Oxford white was actually my second choice for colors. I had originally wanted grabber blue but was unable to locate one relatively near by when I was in purchasing mode. I definitely don't regret it. I Iove the white and I don't think it's as flashy as GB, which is a plus for me. The car is loud enough it doesn't need anyone further attention lol.
