Same here brother. Everything gets "slow" and you adapt to the power/speed. Same here, it's been an entire year and I have not done one go fast mod lol.

Been reading the reviews and a lot of people have been getting a crappy product. I wanted to add this mod next but it's not looking good.

The product itself is good (perfect fit on my 2014). The paint just had a couple issues around the edges. Presumably the method they used to dry/paint was not the best. It's nothing deal breaking, in my opinion. Especially since they fixed it.

Your main problem will be trying to find one lol.

Mine was not even close to perfection, but with some body work and some new paint, she's pretty pristine. Depending on your funds, a reputable body shop can handle this no problem and make it look great. Depends on how much you want to spend.

Yeah there were some less than satisfactory products painted by RTR. It seems like the majority of reviews I have seen are about the same.

The local body shop here gave me an estimate about $70 more than the actual deck lid cost, so when I contacted RTR and spoke with Jess he eventually referred me to AM where I spoke with a really cool guy named Brick who handles these types of situations. I really liked this guy, he was very friendly and helpful. He gave me 4 options:
1. Return it and we'll send you a new one
2. Keep it and receive some store credit then we'll call it even
3. Keep it and we'll give you a discount on a future purchase
4. Return it and we'll repaint it then send it back to you

I thought it was cool he gave me options and since I had it mounted already with a big hole in my trunk options 1 & 4 were less appealing so I'm going with 2 or 3 whichever is cheaper. I was going to get the boss manifold but I just acquired it so I'm trying to decide what to do!

Any suggestions for complimentary mods for the Boss IM? I was thinking short shifter, boss intake exhaust cams and 3.73s or maybe just doing full 3 inch exhaust and h pipe and cat deletes. Any thoughts, opinions, recommendations?

What all suspension upgrades did you guys do?

Lol it will forever liveeee!!!! I have a great, cheap suspension set up that performs and didn't break the bank at all. SR springs, Koni str.t's (Orange) struts and shocks, and GT500 strut mounts. This set up cost me about 500 and is solid. Handles well, eliminated nose dive, and gave the car a perfect stance.

Nice! See I keep seeing people suggest relocation brackets and rear LCA's along with adjustable rear UCA's are a must, along with an adjustable panhard bar and upgraded sway bars.

I agree with everything you listed, but sways. I'd say unless you're auto crossing, you're not going to need upgraded sways.

Sorry for bumping it, ha. I can't seem to find it on AM. Maybe they took it down due to the long wait time currently.

They may have taken it off. I remember a thread a while back where an AM rep said that RTR was checking into quality control issues due to the last production run and want to figure that out prior to making more.

Lol I wonder what thread has the most posts? It should be the longest post because of the horrendous wait to actually get the damn thing lol.

Well, if anyone is de-modding their car for a 15 and wants to sell one of these let me know.

Or I will buy one when/if AM brings them back.

Do they? That's pretty cool. The faux gas cap is such an eye sore to me. If it was actually functional, well then it would be a different story.

They can't. The reason they can for the 15 is because the gt is just an emblem and they pull the deck lid out prior to drilling the holes for the emblem. And....its like $120, and oem quality.

FRPP is Ford, I'm sure they could if they wanted.

They would have to make a completely different deck lid. For the 15 they don't. The just pull it out prior to drilling holes.

Be prepared to be let down every few weeks when they send you an email that says "hey! Guess what? We still don't have it and don't know when we will 😑" lol. I have had about 5-6 of these. The first few I got excited thinking it was in. Now I'm over it.
