I will start a thread when I feel comfortable selling these to you guys. Let's do this. No money down or anything but if you are truly ready to buy once it's made send me a PM. I have not yet decided on a price. I need to look at what it costs to make plus my time. Thanks for the support guys. I'm like you. Got tired of waiting for one of these.

By the way, you'll have a gold mine if you mass produce these. American muscle will pay big bucks for your patent lol.

^well you will have an RTR, anyone who has one I make will only have a panel that is a faux gas cap delete. So you can still be unique sir.

Safe to assume we will still have to cut the hump out for the FGCD panel?

The thread lives on, although through the RTR-DL hopefuls, but will never die none the less. #itgoesonandonmyfriends

Count me in as well, I've been looking to delete the faux gas cap for some time now while maintaining the factory/sleeper look.

I've already blacked out my 5.0 badges and faux gas cap, but this would be a lot cleaner. It's hilarious when cars pull up thinking I've just got a V6 when it's actually a Stage 2 VMP install that blows away Corvettes and keeps up with the New Viper... lol.

With a long enough straight, obviously the Viper weights less and is a lot more aerodynamic, so of course it's going to pull ahead at 140+. But just for reference I was recently at a road course event and there was a 2015 Z06 which is very comparable to the Viper, and I was neck in neck with him on the longest straight which got us from around 30-130mph before you had to dump the brakes. The new Viper stock also pulls low 11's in the 1/4, and plenty of people with similar setups as mine are pulling similar times, even 10's with the right tires.

Obviously the Viper is the better car all around, and I'd love to have one some day. But in the more immediate future, here's to hoping we can get some of these decklids for style... I'm a fan of the blacked out/sleeper look, that's all really.

I just signed in after probably a year to post this. oxford5pointoh, if these can be painted gloss black and look like the RTR one I'm definitely in for one. I have wanted one since the original came out but I didn't buy one because I knew I would be trading in the V6 for a 5.0 and when I got my 5.0 they where discontinued smh

Looks like the #RTRthreadLegacy is soon to be in full effect. AM has now released the new and improved, and cheaper than before. Now every skid mark around will have one, coolness level dramatically dropping at an exponential rate. So long to the exclusive RTR brotherhood of bros and their deck lids, R.I.P.-Real RTR Rascals.

Well they defiantly did just that. The paint is amazing and they have quality control in place, stickers on the back of the panel tell you who painted it, sanded it and buffed it.

I am seriously impressed

Looks good. Hopefully I can get mine off and and get it fixed. It's on there now like a sonofa***** since my body guy put it back on the second time when it unsealed. I'm worried about it bending and/or breaking.

If it's just taped on as it would or should have been originally then some good fishing line and patience will take you to the finish line without any problems. You absolutely cannot pull or pry on that panel or it will buckle.

Pretty sure it might be epoxied on there as well as the double sided tape. The idiot who put it on the second time told me it's not coming off lol. They were obviously perturbed the first time when I came back because it wasn't put on properly....should be a fun time.

Ummm if they used epoxy or something like "panel bond" it will not be coming off. That's some serious stuff. If that's the case then they will have to fix it while it's on the car. That's not going to be easy since the rust always starts on the back edge of these. Yikes ๐Ÿ˜ณ

If they seriously used panel bond, it will not come off without damaging both the panel and the decklid. It literal does as promised, bonds panels. They are now married and they do not want to be apart. No Bueno

Yup when the panel rust and can't come off. Only logical option is to sell it and buy a 16 ss

I don't remember that exact verbiage, but I'm pretty sure it was that. Like I said he said "it's not coming off." The rust look is in though right?
