I can't imagine this one will get discontinued guys. Mine looked great, and my friend also got one and his looks great. With the quality issues under control I can't see why they would stop making them.

Excuse the dirtiness as its currently raining, but it's "supposedly" fixed. It was clearly scuffed and sanded down with a better respray as it actually looks Oxford and not Performance white which is what I think it was painted originally. We'll see if it holds up lol.

Yeah me too. I just hope it holds up. He said the entire outside edge was going. It looks better sealed as well. Hopefully I won't have any more issues aesthetically because I'm done with that portion of the car. It's all motor from here.

Thanks man, as stated above, I just hope it holds up. Wish I had a garage to keep it out of the elements.

American muscle sells it but it's been on back order since I bought mine. Basically if you want one just buy it while it's out of stock because so many people are already doing this that it has yet to show back in stock however people have been getting shipments after 2-3 weeks.

I guess us rtr originals will have to order the new, much cheaper and also better fitting panels. Then we can toss the old ones back out in with the rest of the scrap metal.

Yep, I wouldn't even sell this to anyone it's such a piece of garbage. I mean if someone was in dire need, I would, but I'd feel bad lol.

In an apt currently. Nowhere to put something like that, but great idea. I may have to store it this year...

I stumbled across something very interesting. Some may of already known about it, but it's new to me. Would be cool with an entire trunk to match...

^ I don't know if I have seen that one before but I wonder if it has the same contour as the RTR? I know there is one of these out there that doesn't require the hump removal. It looks a little off to me when it has that bump to it in my opinion. But this one in the pictures is hard to tell.

Pictures make it look exactly like the RTR one. Nice and thin. The descriptions says that they offer a Fiberglass one as well.... COULD HAVE BEEN YOU!

It looks like it's contoured to the trunk...I know the one you're speaking of Ox and I believe this one is just like the RTR. I don't think it would look right on our vehicles unless the entire trunk was CF, but maybe on a black stang...

I just read it requires removal of the hump so I would 100% think it's exactly like the RTR lid.

Yeah it would look good then. I think it would be fine on any color as long as it ties into other things on the car that are legit carbon fiber.

I don't think it's been brought up. Does tru carbon's version sit flush to the trunk? I know most don't.
