Clutch kicking

How many of you do it? For what reasons? Just how bad is this? Obviously it does a toll on your clutch, but other than that what do you guys think? I like getting sideways and I clutch kick Alotttttt. My friend says it's fine and not t worry to much about it, but I'd like your input on the subject (:

do you mean "dropping the clutch" or "dumping the clutch" Ive never heard the term "kicking the clutch" lol as in, when sitting still, you bring the revs up, and abruptly let the clutch out?

Yeah, he's referring to drifting the car. "Kick" the clutch around a turn to get the back end out. I imagine it's a bit more gentle than a standing burnout since the drivetrain is already moving - possibly not as abrupt of a shock on everything.. I say that with zero actual facts to back it up, just how my mind is picturing it
