Hard to say.

My best description would be that the Roush is louder than a Maserati GT/Quattroporte but not as loud as a harley davidson. They are louder than the GT500s

I'm selling mine, I will be putting a post up soon.

The roush are pretty loud under acceleration. I can say their not as loud as the SLP loudmouths I had on my charger.

What's your setup? Do you have h-pipes, x-pipes? Cat delete or anything like that? Cause I have Roush AB with pypes H-pipe and cat delete and my car is just crazy loud

I'm completely stock right now...just got the car on July 5 and have less than 2k miles on it. Was thinking about the ford racing power pack with the tune + GT500 axlebacks, or not tuning and getting the Roush. If we're talking louder than a Maserati though, I may be better off with the GT500 or GT500+tune.

Damn.

There's one video of a guy with GT500s who did a db meter before and after--showed as about 10db louder for the 500s at 4k RPM but about the same at idle. My best guess is the Roush is at least 10db louder all around (including idle) but I haven't seen anyone do a db meter on it, and it's tough to tell from videos really.

Unfortunately you won't find what you're looking for on the computer. The only way to get any sort of an idea of what sounds good to you is to hear it in person. I understand that is much easier said than done but it can sound 100% different from one person to the next. Or one computer to the next computer. It doesn't matter what speakers you have or how loud you turn them up.

And everyone has a different opinion about them. For example I have a 14GT, bone stock. I installed the Borla S-type axleback only and i didn't like it. I like loud and to me the volume was on point but it just didn't have any tone. It was just loud and sounded like garbage. I'm sure the Borla fans are pissed off now and my opinion sucks but thats just what it is, my opinion. So for $300 I ordered a set of gt500's shipped from AM and they sound great. Too quiet for me but they sound incredible. Then for $75 I had a muffler shop cut out my resonators and weld 3" S.S. piping in it's place. So for $375 I have this exhaust set-up thats absolutely amazing. At idle it sounds just a touch louder then stock. But under any acceleration at all it sounds every bit as loud as the s-types but it has this super deep old-school muscle car sound that you can't find anywhere else. And they sound NOTHING like they do on YOUTUBE. Actyually neither one of them sounded anything like they do online...

I've said this before, and even I thought Roush's were the way to go. They are great by themselves, but unless you like pretty much running as loud as open headers once you delete the cats, they're too loud at that point. I sold my Roush's after deleting the cats. Running stock mufflers right now, and honestly it sounds great to me with no resonators and an x-pipe and no cats. It's still plenty rowdy at WOT. I'm still going to order the GT500'S just to tweak the tone a bit.

What, I just stated a fact. Normally I've seen you just randomly post something not useful in a thread. No need to call the mods over something so simple.

I have the Roush AB's (Stock Engine except FRPP Racing tune) they are indeed Loud as can be but at 65 mph on cruise in 6th gear not a peep. I love them all around but I have a buddy who has them also and OR pipe and res deletes and they sound horrible and extremely loud.

Loving my flow master outlaws so far. Actually on start up..... Was surprised how quiet they were... I was expecting much louder. In car, drone isn't bad but it's there. I think they sound good.
