Grinding noise between 3300-4000 RPMs

I've recently noticed a grinding like noise that occurs between 3300-4000 RPMs in gears 1-4. The gears aren't grinding and nothing is affected between this range. I have a manual transmission. I'm thinking this could be the clutch/throw out bearing going out given my car has 45K miles and 3.73 gears. Any input helps, thanks!
