At the track, need help lol

I'm at the track, and I'm not doing good. Lol, I lowered my car with struts/shocks/springs and I thinky launch may be suffering. I have LCA's and a UCA with a bracket. I'm leaving the gate, slipping the clutch at about 2500, shifting at around 6500 which is peak HP. Any tips for me? I'm no noob, I have a ton of passes, but just 5 with this car. Need help bros. 2 13.4 @ 108 in a row....

For the mods, hell yes. Just ripped off a 13.0 @ 108 but I expected better. Launched a little higher a little over 3k. I'm selling the car lol jk

Best run of the night. Meh, not impressed. These p-zeros gotta go. I drove the balls off the car to get this time. Tires are definitely holding me back.

I have P-Zeros also and have found the best results launching from idle and shifting short out of 1st. I have 3.73's so shifting short doesn't seem to hurt as bad as blowing away the P-Zeros.

What the above said...on street tires, just launch off idle. Also, lowering the car is not helping weight transfer, so just be patient. You'll get the times eventually with more practice. Also, removing your front sway bar will help transfer some weight rearwards when you launch, once you get some sticky rubber.

Depends on elevation and heat. The higher the elevation the less dense the oxygen. Same with heat. 100+ degrees and your car can be as much as 0.5-1 second slower than at say 70 degrees.

Launch off idle eh? Never thought of that. I wouldn't think that would cut anything off my 60 ft but who knows. There was another stock 14 GT 6spd with 3.73's running the same exact times as me but was bone stock in the suspension dept.

Dallas I'm not sure of elevation at this particular track (Lebanon Valley Dragway in New Lebanon NY) but it was approximately 70 degrees out. Pretty cool. I need some ET streets in my life.

Would investing in 50/50 drag shocks be beneficial? I daily this thing as well so I don't want that going to crap.

Lebanon Valley NY is where I usually race. I'll be at New England Dragway next weekend for a Tasca racing event.

Yeah grabber I've never raced personally anywhere else. I've been to englishtown and NED but did not race. Those tracks I hear blow LVD away. Heartbreaking to get that close to 12's lol. I don't know how ppl hit 12.xx stock in these cars with the pirellis. Sad thing is I'm not even stock lol.

Englishtown and Atco down in NJ are better tracks than Lebanon Valley. What state are you in?

Oh I know brother. I'm in East Longmeadow MA. It's basically western MA. Takes me approximately an hour to get to LVD.
