Thinking About Getting a Mustang GT

Alright, so my last few vehicles have been trucks and I've always loved the Mustangs... I would keep a truck if I get a Mustang for work purposes. However, I like driving down country roads and would I be able to do this anymore? Also, how safe are mustangs compared to a pickup truck?

Just depends on how bad the roads are and their pretty safe but their just not as rugged as a truck would be.

I live around some crappy roads and haven't had a problem ever. I haven't lowered for that reason though

Trucks here for past 12 yrs or so. Just came from a lifted 2012 titan to a 2014 GT. Big difference.

Gotta remember trucks weigh more and have more clearance. So in a wreck (in my observations) the auto that weighs most and sits higher wins.

As far as dirt roads - I'm personally gonna avoid crappy roads but not because of durability, just preference.

I think 2014s have a 4 star crash rating (someone correct me if I'm wrong) and GT on rain, snow, or ice you'll miss the truck.

Get the stang.

I have had my fun with truck

04 f150 lariat. Had 8" lift with 37" tires with 20's. Borla exhaust, AFE intake, and edge Evolution programer

Also a 06 f150. With a 3/5 drop on 22 's full exhaust, same programer

I don't miss them, got In more trouble with my lofted truck then I did with my 03 cobra back the lol

hankook is good. I have gone through 2 pretty bad winters in my mustang using hankook winter tires and they worked flawlessly for me. i live in canada so my tires got a good amount of usage out of them. thankfully i'm storing my mustang for winter from now on. don't need winters messing up my car with the damn salt and ****ty road conditions.
