Unplug the battery, wait about 10-15 minutes. Then try again

As soon as you get home update your tuner.

I always take both off. Just do not let the + touch anything.

But when doing this - comes of first then the +, then when reconnecting. + first and - last.

Ok it is returning to stock. Thank you. Next question. I have a JLT CAI that requires tune. With this harm the car if it's returned to stock? Have 13 miles left before I get home.

Great news on saving the OP Rap! Yes the sites members come thru again.

I am just wondering why you like take the + positive terminal off also once the - negative terminal is removed? Electrons actually flow from the negative terminal thru the car to the positive (Franklin assumed electric charge moved in the opposite direction that it actually does, had it backwards from the physicists). With the negative removed no current can flow and its an easy to remove post/cable on the 2011 on compared to the positive.

Also for safety you don't have to worry about the negative cable touching the car body like you would if you removed the positive cable only.

I yes you are correct, negative is the only one that need to be removed.

But Personally it's just been something I have always done, just habit I guess.

I had the same problem, you need to update the driver and the firmware on the device. Mine is an SCT unit. I called them and they walked me through it remotely.

I always hook my battery up to a charger to change tunes. At first mine did the same **** and it was pissing me off!! Found out it needs a constant 12v while programming.
