Black 2014 gt wheels

I'm going to man up and buy some wheels. These base wheels make me cringe when I see them. I'm in between the AMR 20" staggered and the Niche Targa 20" staggered. However, I'm open to all opinions. If you all could upload some pics of your wheels on a black mustang I would appreciate it. Thanks guys!

I really like the RTR wheels, i don't mind the stock look but i'm planning to do the same in the near future and put black on black

I would have already bought the RTR if they made them in 20".

Ooo yea i overlooked that. I like the 19inch look the 20s would have supper skinny walls, tough on the bumps and road noise and the wallet but i must admit that would look shaweet! mine is shared DD with my wife so i'm a little more conservative.

Looking at the two styles the AMR's are close to the RTR's or SVE Drifts. The Niche Targas do have a little difference to them that adds a more unique look and appeal. Lots of others (inc myself) seam to go for the RTR/SVE look so maybe the Niche Targa would be a good choice.

The only problem I have with the Targa is there's a ton of open space, and I don't have brembos. So in a way the AMR's might be better for me.

Cringing at the factory wheels, damn that's a little harsh. I like Ford's newer OEM wheels.

That looks awesome man. I love it. If I had brembos, that's exactly what I would have.

True. It's just a big purchase and I don't want to have any regret.

I know what you mean, I just bought Roush A/B and had to take them off. They sounded frigging AMAZING! But just didn't feel practical. You live and learn and sometimes you just have to try stuff out yourself. I think seeing some in person is always best but tbh they do look really cool. Just save up for some beefy callipers next ;-p

You took the Roush AB off?!?!? I put them on a week after the car came in and I'm still in love. The highlight of my day is that cold start in the morning 😍

Yea they are a really awesome sound I took her out around the country lanes the day I got them and I was grinning from ear to ear. I went out again the next day with my friend in his new Dodge Dart GT and had a great day out. But back in the streets of downtown where I live I felt like I had to drive so differently and almost winced and ducked below the dash if i put my foot down. Plus the wife does take her out from time to time and it was too obnoxious for her. Prob go GT500s in the near future.

I know my car isn't black but these are the Godspeed omega. They literally have only 1/8 inch between the wheel calipers front and back. They make them in 20 as well.

I like the stock 5 spoke GT rims, I just wish they had a 9 inch width for bigger tires. The little 235's just don't cut it.

When the planets align correctly (cash on hand and local seller), I will probably upgrade to Brembo 19X9's but until then, the 18's on the car look just fine.
