MRT KR AB anyone?

Silly thread/question but I have yet to find another member with this particular AB. Don't know why that is, maybe it's because the general consensus is that is sucks lol. I love mine, just wanted to hear opinions, likes/dislikes, etc. I love mine haha.

Lol I hadn't either until a buddy sent me a YouTube link to this particular AB. It's essentially a muffler delete, but I love it.

Ahh I see basically bargain SLP loudmouths, probably sounds the exact same. I still think it's crazy how much these axle backs cost. I paid the same amount for my roush axle backs as I did for a whole cat back for my charger.

I believe SLP's are a bit cheaper than these. I had SLP on my 04 GT and I loved them, albeit raspy as all hell. These only get raspy when really high up in the RPM's. Throaty otherwise. I'll see if I can post a sound clip

Hey yeah to each their own man, I just like doing away with the mufflers on the stangs for some reason.

Well that depends on where you get them that's cool, how much are the Roush AB's? I didn't even contemplate them.

Still nobody's chimed in with actually having an MRT AB. I feel special lol.

Yeah I'm all set with paying that for an AB. Name brand or not, that amount of piping and mufflers is just ridiculously priced. What I should've done is just had my local muffler shop weld me up 3" pipes and called it a day. I got mine on sale for 385$ but it's still foolish.

The only reason I did it was cause of everyone saying they had no drone and I didn't want to mess around trying different mufflers.

Yeah, there's a bunch with no drone. The quieter version of mine has absolutely none. I have slight drone at around 1900 but it's nothing I can't live with.

I went to MRT and watched them make their exhausts. I can't express enough the quality put into them. Reason why we sell them.

That's my thought process. I did quite a bit of research before I made my purchase. I'll more than likely be finishing off the exhaust with MRT down the road. Cool to know that someone else shares the same opinion
