Opinions on window louvers

So i bought my car new about 2 months ago with the appearance package option. When i first got it i really likes the window louvers that it came with but lately ive been thinking of taking them off. I kinda like the sleek look better but i cant decide. What are guys opinions?

So you guys know the factory ford louvers will pop off for window cleaning etc...I normally grip my fingers on the smaller end "torwards the back of car" and pull. May have to pull like hell but you'll see they actually remove and replace easily. They are installed with a heavy grade Velcro. And I've had mine off several times for cleaning and no problems slappin back on and holding tight.

If you like louvers and sleekness, get the SHR flush mounted window louvers

In my opinion I like the look without louvers as well but when mine are off my car it seems naked to me. Always an option to go with aftermarket to change the look or at least pop them off and have an opinion of your own....enjoy!

The stick on louvers are okay but I don't like how they stand proud of the windows. I guess its a trade off though, at least you can take them off if you get tired of the look. I wound up installing SHR flush mount louvers on my GT. They are sleek but are not for the weak of heart, they required cutting out the original quarter windows and trimming the interior parts so cannot be easily changed. I think they really nail the look of the quarter vents on old Mustang fastbacks though.

Those are so sick ^. I saw them on a cobra jet at the track and I fell in love. I'll most likely be ordering them next year.

Yes your factory louvers will pop off and the Velcro that's used is not your normal Velcro. It has the same concept but is designed to hold better regardless how many times you pop them on and off. Give em a tug. Like I said start from the back (smaller side) and pull. Take a bit of force but you'll see it's pretty easy.

I love the flush mounts but did not want to do the work, I added the pre painted Eleanor style I really like them in the end and will settle for them for now.

If your worried when I get a chance I'll pop mine off and send some pics of the Velcro material. I was told this from the Ford dealer when I *****ed how the windows from the inside look like crap from dirt. He told me pop em off and clean them. I did. Lol

Yes they come right off and go on just as easily. You will have to apply some effort. I have a nylon prying tool that I hook in and twist sideways so I don't damage the Paint. Be careful it doesn't fall as sometimes they come off abruptly.

I went this direction. I love the sleek look (flush to the car) but body color like most louvers. They are GT350 style from American Muscle.

I like the lines of my car and would never glue on some piece of plastic.

I was gonna buy window louvers because I have always like them but when I got my 2013 GT in DIB I couldn't make up my mind on if I liked them with that color. I ended up getting the darkest window tint I could on them first and am really loving the look. Might end up getting louvers one day but for now I am digging this.
