90mm TB

First off YES I did research that the T-bodies dont do much and that the 90mm TB is over kill for a N/A motor. A lot of the complaints were that its not worth the money for what you get. If I was to get a BBK 90mm TB for 200$ would most of you still think its not worth it? I would never justify 500+ for one but i can get a super deal on one so i just had to ask.

Got a BBK 90mm TB as a throw in with a Boss IM for just that.....$200. It was and is awesome. The car is now FI so it is even better now, but I will say from first hand experience, the BBK 90mm TB was WELL worth the $200 that I paid for it even when the car was NA.

i wish it was an 85mm for 200$ but o well. I figure if i can get it cheap enough it might over right the price vs power negativity

I guess the guy has an 85mm and 90mm so what one would you recommend for my N/A stang.? I think the 85mm would be less over kill.

85mm. I have one on a BOSS IM and definitely increased throttle response. One thing a lot of people don't realize is while you don't really pick up peak hp you do see some gains in the mid range which is useful.

I'm just surprised I have 2 positive comments on this already. I thought for sure 15 people would chime in and tell me "just research it more, throttle bodies suck, don't waste your money I wouldn't take one for free" blah blah blah. If I can get it for 1/2 the price I'm getting it.

People are like lemmings, one person doesn't like it or has bad results they all follow suit. On a stock car sure probably worthless. Have some bolt ons, a tune or manifold, headers etc yeah for half price it's worth it for the throttle response alone. Really do the most with a BOSS IM as you gain back some of the minor low and mid range loss.

^^^Very true. I love when people give respond that it is a total waste when they have not tried or used one. NA, the 85mm TB would probably be a good fit. If at some point you plan to FI, get the 90mm. For $200, it is a no brainer

Lemmings also sometimes eat to much lichen and run off cliffs together....
Honestly I don't see how a throttle body wouldn't be an improvement.

Go for it, a throttle body spacer would probably be waste of time though

Dang he showed up and only had the 90mm with spacer. I passed on it but I did get a set of brand new maximum motor sports Caster camber plates for 150. Let's see if they fit my eibach pro street coil overs
