Then again why would someone spend money on getting a trac pac option and not road track race it? What is the point of that? Seems silly to me! 😎

Well since I got it for 6k under the advertised sticker price and I have thousands in upgrades that the stock GT doesn't have it doesn't seem too silly to me

A bunch of useless upgrades come with the track pack. If you plan on drag racing, your behind a big step vs a base GT.

Wouldn't the track pack be a step ahead for even drag racing? What's the supposed downfall vs a base gt?

No it wouldn't. That Torsen rear is like glass when it comes to repeated clutch dumps on sticky tires at the strip.

I could care less about racing and taking it to the strip.. It's my weekend car/project to make my own. It has a lot of things that the base models don't and if I plan on buying a car I'm not going to buy the low end model.. Especially when I got it for the same/if not less of a price than majority of the base model ones out there. I love the little differences it has from a base model and that's what stands it apart from everyone else's mustangs. To each their own.
