Quad or Dual Exhaust???

My wife and I are trying to make up our minds whether or not to install the '13+ Shelby rear valence so we can get the black quad tip Magnaflow Outlaws or if we should just stick with the stock valence and go with the SLP Loudmouth dual tips. Either way we are looking for a muffler delete setup.

Also, how labor intensive is the swap to the '13+ Shelby rear valence.

Any pictures of either setup are welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Here are the install instructions. http://www.fordracingparts.com/downl...230-MSVTCD.pdf

It looked a little too much for me, so I had my speed shop install it.

Awesome, thank you for the link! I saw the install instructions on the American Muscle website but they kinda sucked. However, that looks like something I think would be a little out of my leage. I wouldn't trust myself cutting into my own car.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was labor?

I thought about this too, but ended up just getting the GT 500 dual exhaust.

Why did you decide not to get the Magnaflow quad tips?

Too much trouble for me to swap out the valence. Much easier to just install the dual tip mufflers in my own garage...Quad tips do look bad *** though. If money is not a worry, just take it to a shop.

I'm also interested in the Shelby spoiler which I see you have. Does it mount using the existing holes or do you have to drill more? It also looks like you didn't reinstall the reflectors, that looks nice.

Thanks, those are the stock GT500 muff's. If you don't have a Cali Special the holes are the same. The reflectors are there, I just painted them black.

The Magnaflows don't have the slanted tips, so they will protrude slightly from the bumper. I'm not sure how that'll look but I'm sure it'll sound great.

Where did you get the carbon fiber valence? I've never seen one of those.

Nevermind, I found one from Trufiber. I was doing some reading about the carbon fiber valences and a few people said that they were experiencing some yellowing due to the heat from the exhaust. Have you experienced this on yours?

We have TruCarbon all over this car. No problems at all. If you buy a cheap carbon fiber piece that does not use a quality gel & clear coat, you would have a problem. A GT500 spoiler, front & rear valances, hood vents mirror covers, mud flaps and the car is outside constantly and I have not seen any yellowing even above the exhaust.

Those are actually comp axle backs. They say they're for 11-12 cars but they fit great, we have about 6 total customers with that very same setup.

How are these the Magnaflow competition series axle backs? The Competiton series from Magnaflow only come in a black finish. Does this company polish off the black paint? I'd much rather have them polished.

The Shelby spoiler mounts using the same holes if you already have a standard spoiler. My buddy just did the swap to the Shelby spoiler not long ago on his 12 gt
