Catch Can Results

Catch Can results:

FRPP Track Key - 576 miles total running on the tune some very spirited and some cruise miles and making passes up town. This is half of what drained out so maybe total 2 tablespoons or so.

*NOTE* Oil on the dip stick is crystal clear as if it came out the bottle.

Can someone explain this catch can and oil in intake stuff to a novice?
Something that can harm the car? Stock car vulnerable?

I am by no means a mechanic or an expert as you can tell by my catch can install I am not "the best" mechanic but it looks "ok" I guess on to your question about this matter it seems that it is preferred to install a catch can when using the FRPP tune as to remove any possible oil vapors from entering your intake thus possibly reducing the air/fuel properties. It has been said if you hear a ping running the tune to install this to eliminate that ping as it drops your octane in the fuel/air ( I have never had that ping but just as a precaution I installed one). Again only what I have read I know allot of people use breathers the stock setup is a very short hose from your PCV to the intake the "catch can" removes those "oil vapors" however there are cans that are not very effective I was just putting it out there that this one in particular is working very well. Again I am not an expert on this subject matter, I know maybe Deerslayer and or Dallastang or Rapinator might be able to elaborate and or give a different opinion, I am only doing what FRPP suggested and only have the FRPP tune until warranty gets close then I will open this car up and add on much much more.
