Climate Control!?

I have a 2014 GT with regular dash controls no NAV option or dual climate control but when I turned the car on today I saw on the digital display near the compass a fan icon and full bar (like a phone signal bar / fan speed indicator) and on the far left and right sides of the screen it's showed two sets of 88F numbers. After a few moments it stopped and all was normal. To note the power light for the climate control wasn't on.

Any thoughts? How do I make it do it again, do I have dual climate control or was it just a system bug / check.

Thanks

TM

I've seen this a couple times on my 14GT as well. Have no idea how it happened and it doesn't happen often. Probably just a glitch in the A/C.

Hit the power button and rear defroster at the same time and it will do it again.. I don't know what the purpose is, though.

Ah that combination seams to ring familiar. The Climate Control was set to On and also set as the rear defroster setting when i last turned the car off. When I turned the car back on it resumed in this setting (as it does) but i didn't want it On so i turned it off and it went through this random cycle.

Its probably a display screen system check for when the independent climate control system is fitted, i presume.

Thanks for the info.
