2014 Shelby vs 1968

So this wise guy on youtube thinks he knows everything about everything on Mustangs, he claims 2014s are slower than 68s and the new Mustangs perform poorly compared to the old ones... He also says a bone stock 68 shelby has 600 horsepower and I posted links showing 0-60 times quarter mile times of the old shelbys vs the new but he refuses to believe them... Please help me educate this fool I would appreciate it a lot.

LOL. If a bone stock 68 GT500 made 225-245 whp it would be very lucky. But, minor tuning ie timing advance, headers, new carb, distributor would wake up a 428 Cobra Jet FE motor. Add some slicks with the old top loader 4 speed and your in the 12's easy. Modding worked the same 40 years ago...

haha I know he claims to be a Mustang enthusiast/muscle car lover but he is incredibly ignorant I have no idea why haha I even show him proof to back up my claims and he refuses to listen.
