Shelby Amp - Cant work with Raxiom Unit

Ok, Everyone. I have dealt with this for a Month now. Kicker has been great.
They sent me a new unit over the Weekend. I emailed them Yesterday before I installed the new unit. (I was told by the company that sold the unit to me it would work with the Raxiom) I asked The Kicker Tech, about using this with the Raxiom face unit. Well today I am told.. It Will Not Work with the Add on unit.
I am not mad at Kicker or Shelby. I am upset with the company that sold the unit to me. I will not smear names but I will tell you right now When I first let them know I had problems they told me I had to go through Shelby for help. Now today they are telling me the same thing on returns. (Basically they are telling me you are on your own) I only saved 20$ and now I have found out how well they stand behind the products they sell. They don't. They did offer to give me 10% off my next order... ( Really!!!!!)
I have Emailed both Kicker and Shelby to see what if anything they can do for me.
Best Case I am out just 40$ and a month of my time.. Or I could be out 460$

I may list this for sale if they will not return.

Based on said company's response and leaving you high and dry I would like to know who they are so I don't order anything from them down the road.

PM me if you don't want to post but throw it out there brother.

Let me check the rules first.
If it's ok I will name names.

Matter of fact I had one company that suppose to do price matches tell me they would not match a price because they would not make enough money off the mufflers.
If allowed I'll tell both...

They are called late model auto parts. They are out of Cal.
Shelby has a eBay store that is separate and I thought they were a franchise of them.

I've had great service from both Shelby and Kicker as I went through my upgrade project. Started with just the speakers but ended up going the whole 9 yards!

Todays update

They are called "Late Model Auto Parts", They are out of Cal.

I got an Email from Shelby Yesterday that they were going to get involved and get a hold of " Late Model Auto Parts" Then I got an Email from Late Model an hour later saying they would get back with me with a RMA. I have not yet heard back from them today, but will let you know if anything changes. I just dont want to post on here like my kids do on Facebook. (You know minute by Minute of my car drama)

I will post when I anything big changes.

update and correction

Going to blow off steam I hope its ok.. Its also updated Information..

Correction the company is actually called "Late Model Auto Parts Depot."
They are located in Cathedral City, Ca.
The email I got from them, you could tell they were not happy with me for getting Shelby to Help. (Also I copy the Dealer on any email I sent to Shelby-work habit)
The owner of Late Model.. I guess didn't remember when we spoke the first time about my car.. I had asked about the Shelby Unit working with the Raxiom Head Unit.. I can understand that.. I can..
BUT>> today I got an email with the RMA and what to do, He also called me a lair about not one but two of my email facts.
1. He stated, he would never of sold the unit to me if I had told him about the Raxiom head unit.
2. This is the next one.. When I had emailed Shelby I told them I should of bought the Amp through them .. I had only saved about 12$ ( Yes, IM cheap),
I stated the 12$ wasn't worth the lack of support. Late Model owner tells me he saved me more than 12$ because the list price was 499.99.. I have screen shot the Add for Shelby for a later date/ Reply. Shelby has it on sale for 449.99..
Late model sold it to me for 437.5... that's actually 12.49..
Again he may not of known Shelby had them on sale. My problem is..
Bold face call me a lair in an Email! Really!
Here is his Email Copy Paste
Hi Greg, sorry for all the confusion, the amp will not work on your modified
system, if you would have ever mentioned it to us we could have avoided all the
trouble, please return to SA & use RMA #3273 & write it on package, once they ok
return we will issue credit or refund purchase price of amp.

Please let us know if their is anything we can do for you.

Thanks,

Jeff Manger
LMA Parts Depot, LLC
760-656-7472

P.S. that amp retailed for $499.99 so we gave you a nice discount off list @
$437.50, other amps retail for $449.99, not his one which is moot now but had
seen complaint that we only saved you $12.50 & that was not true either.

Maybe I am wrong, but you can make your own mid up.
I feel when you spend 400 plus $$ on something and your having problems you the Seller should stand behind your product, not make the customer do all the work. If need be I can send the first email that sounded like well you out of luck but kicker will not take back the Amp unless its still in new condition..

I'm really upset so I hope this all makes sense. Let me know what you think so I know if my thinking is wrong.

sucks you had to deal with this nonsense, but I'm curious as to why it wouldn't work with the Raxiom, I mean after all, the Raxiom retains the factory stereo, it just changes the front panel........
