Ford Racing Handling Pack

Well I installed the Ford Racing Handling Pack last weekend on my 14 GT. I got the kit on ebay new for under $600 shipped which was a fantastic deal. It dropped the car about 1" but the main reason I put it on was to eliminate the bouncy ride on the interstate. I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow to check the alignment but it seems to have really improved the ride and handling. Looking forward to trying it out on some country roads next weekend. Below are before and after photos, I recently added the SHR window louvers too.

Is the panhard bar adjustable? Even if its one specifically designed for those springs, i'd personally get an adjustable one.

Yes. It is adjustable. If it's the right one for the pack, it should be.

I bet it was a pita to remove and replace the front swaybar cause I just replaced my front and rear with steeda adjustable swaybars and the front has little clearance to slide it out and the front swaybar end links were also a pita.

It didn't come with a tower strut? Good Price for the kit. I have the kit plus the tower strut on my V6. I don't do the country roads anymore. It will beat you to death.

Hope yours doesn't beat you to death.

The ride is not harsh at all, in fact it is similar to stock but feels more solid and without that annoying bouncy feeling. My GTI has a much firmer ride on stock parts but this feels very nice.

The image above with black parts is the OEM suspension. Most of the new parts are painted Ford blue. There are several versions of this kit, the one I bought is shown below. It came unassembled including the shocks, struts, springs, GT500 strut mounts, front and rear sway bars, upper control arms and shock tower brace as shown. I already have a shock tower brace so am selling the one that came with the kit. It did not have a panhard bar so I bought the adjustable J&M unit, glad I did as the car was about 1/2" off center after the installation.

Here are the P series springs. For some reason they included extra jounce stops and dust sleeves for the front struts:

Not at all, I dropped the lower radiator brace and it came out from the bottom. There's no way I would have attempted to snake it out from the side lol. The end links are easy with two wrenches.

Well I had to slide it out carefully out one wheel well because there was this V shaped arm in the way right under the plastic oil service pan and it was bolted and welded so there was no way I could've taken it out. Probably cause mine is a 3.7 and yours is a 5.0 different mounts
