How To Plasti Dip Stripes?

I want stripes but just to be sure I like them I thought plasti dipping would be a great way to find out. I have used plasti dip before and love the product but doing stripes on a car is a bigger deal than what I done. Any suggestions?

The problem with plasti dip is that you'll need at least a tiny gap in order to get a fine edge. but I have seen fonzi on youtube plasti dipping the gap-free window trim. The tip is to remove the tape while the last coat is still wet. I have not tried it personally, but this is probably the only way you can get a perfect stripe. Good luck!

This! I did the same with Plasti Dip as a temporary way to see if I'd like some red accents on mine, and peeling the tape immediately after spraying the last coat leaves a nice clean edge.

Yep, gotta pull tape when it's still wet. Only other option is to use a razor blade up against the edge of the tape but not a good idea in this application..
