What kind of flowmasters do you have? Are they the outlaws that appear more like straight pipes? or are they an actual muffler? If its a muffler you will probable have similar loudness with any type of aftermarket muffler with a different tone. Although exhaust is extremely subjective so I would recommend listening to clips online and seeing what you like. It may be a case where stock mufflers fit your needs.

I just say that because I have Magnaflow street series on my car and I think it is fairly tame but have been told my car is extremely loud so its subjective. Another thing to consider if you just bought the car and this is your first muscle car you may want to give it a few weeks and see how you adjust to it. Generally if you go from a honda to a Mustang with flowmasters it may seem loud but you will get used to it and grow to like the sound.

Installed the GT500 today and what a difference. They don't have the gurgling under water sound or the drone I was getting with the flow masters. And I don't know if it's my imagination but the car feels more responsive and seems to have more low end torque. Perhaps , more back pressure with the GT500s? I'm very pleased witht the tone.

Just an FYI, Borla makes those GT500s for Ford, and the Ford Racing models as well. I got a Borla hat in my Ford Racing Sports box for my V6. The good sound and no drone had me purchase Borla ATAKs for my GT I traded the six-gun on.

IN order of loudness but all NoDrone:
GT500s
S-Types
ATAKs

Well I have a set of stock Pull offs with 12 miles on them for $50.00 but you will like the GT500's.
