I did, but I just sold them because I went to an off road x-pipe

I'm interested in this as well. I'm looking to get some put on but I have to switch to an off road x-pipe before I get them put on since I don't want them to get welded on the catted x-pipe. And its better to have an off road x-pipe for the supercharger once I get it.

I had one on a previous car and it is nice being able to switch between having an aggressive sound of the exhaust dumps and factory mufflers. Although I would check with your states emissions laws. I am in NC and actually had my car fail due to the inspector claiming that it bypassed the muffler. Sure he was being nit picky but just be prepared for the potential headache that could come up. If I were to do it all over again I would have either bought an new X pipe or found someone selling their stock one so I could swap off the cut outs to avoid this issue.

Something like this is something I'm planning on doing. I heard QTP is good for E-Cutouts.

I was hoping to do this to get around NC emissions laws...no good! Maybe I'll move back down to SC again.

Emissions was the reason I got a catted x-pipe to begin with but then I found out I could "garage" the car at my uncles house in a different county w/o emissions. Problem solved and now no limits to what I want to do with exhaust! E-cutouts soon to come. I'd like to find a video of what it sounds like one a 11-14 GT but haven't had any luck yet.

I just got a set of QTP electric cutouts for my Boss 302 sidepipes. Going to use this mini rocker switch for a discrete installation:

I mean I know of people who get the car passed without any issues just thought I would share my experiences that they could potentially give you a hard time. That's why I would almost suggest picking up a stock X pipe and using that for the cutouts and then if you have issues getting it through inspection just swap it out.

Don't get me wrong it is nice but honestly If I did it again I would just get a normal cutout as I didn't find myself opening/ closing it enough to feel like it was worth buying the electric piece as the 'cool' factor wore off quickly and I just left it open. And if you get a normal cutout its only like $35 and you can always add the electric valve latter.
