I have no personal experience with on3 but when I was deciding which way to FI I did a lot of reading. There was no product I researched which had more bad things said about it than on3. Do some googling and read the horror stories before you pull the trigger. BTW I went with a twin screw and couldn't be happier

The only reason i want to go twin turbo is later on i might want to push it to 1000hp i don't know to much about twin screw but don't it cost the same as a twin turbo and can i push it up to 1000hp later on?

A good twin turbo set up is gonna run quite a bit more than a s/c and will require more $ down the road to maintain it. But a TT set up will get you more hp than any s/c set up without internal mods.

This is what I'm thinking about getting later down the road or I just might get it before the twin turbo I'm still looking at that option

His pizza delivery mustang has the on3 kit on it. I guess he delivered one too many late pizzas, so he needed some extra hp.

Well I been reading forms for the last 4 day about on3 and only found like 2 bad ones on the fit none on the turbos even one that had 20k miles plus and no problems and some with dyno sheets and been producing big numbers also there's one guy on here that has a shop that would recommend putting the on3 on over hellions.i think alot of people just give them hell about the cost of it .I bet if it was 6 to 7k $ they wouldn't catch that much hell as far a right now I'm going with the kit and whats funny no one will give me no information on a better turbo only superchargers.

It sounds to me like you are almost ready to pull the trigger. You should do it and let us know how it turns out.

I know of a guy that has a single On3 kit on his car. He has had it for over two years and hasn't had a problem yet. It's all in the tune. Just have someone that knows what they are doing tune it

There is a huge thread on the Corral about this kit and lots of ppl posting results, rwhp numbers and timeslips.

Cliff's notes:

Kit is very high quality and ppl with forged motors and stock heads and cams are running low 9s with this kit as is in the box.

On3 did have issues when they started up with their initial modular and pushrod kits. They are much better quality now and there was a guy (I think his name was Mike) that was working there who was a complete jackass and has long since been fired.

Note, the stock internals will not support this sort of power but it illustrates how high the kit can go right out of the box. This car is a 2011 with forged internals, stock heads, stock cams, a boss intake and upgraded springs. 4d converter and stock 6R80 transmission.

Obviously suspension is taken care of.

Stock heads like I said. Dyno queens are cool, but I've seen too many dyno queens get their doors blown off by cars making 100+ less rwhp.

You will need the 1300's

You will be at 90% with the 1000s at mid 700 with e85.

It can be done. But I would be safe and get some 1300's. That way your not maxing out the 1,000's. Especially if you want even more later on

This is why I like having a resident Coyote guru on this forum. I can e-stalk all his posts and take notes so I'm not a complete derp when I eventually get my own 5.0 car. Just will be a mostly derp.
