Pins you to the seat. Her evo doesn't do that.

She must not be driving her Evo fast enough. She could also tighten up the seatbelt.

Has anything since the thread started changed? Have you talked to her about slowing down at bumps and railroads to save suspension, tires, alignment, etc?

Nah man I live in Beckley. Roads are **** here too though and it would probably be better if I have honestly never lowered the car. I probably should've thought about it haha

Yeah she says she doesn't wanna worry about dragging the car in places. They before I lowered it was better because I didn't have to drive so carefully and pull in places differently. Some places I can't even go because I'm scared to scrape my chin spoiler. So I guess will be returning to stock height.

Having driven around West Virginia quite a bit, I think the healthier choice for your CAR would be to bring it back to stock height. Sure, the lowering looks good and feels better, but is it worth the limitations is imposes on your daily life? I would hate to see you end up like this...

^thats exactly what you should do! Get some *** bumpers from a junk yard and lower it even more. Then shell prefer the first time it was lowered and you win!

Im sorry. I accidently sprayed some clear coat in my face earlier and since 1:30 Ive been kind of bouncing on the walls...

Sounds like she doesn't know how to drive a lowered car, just gotta use angles and low speed. I had a a close to slammed 95 and I could get around Tallahassee (really hilly in Florida) just fine just had to go at inclines with an angle. Otherwise she can just drive the Evo and stop complaining.

Take note if this. It only gets worse after marriage... Lol. If she's that sensitive about lowering a car that doesn't even belong to her, drop her like a bad habit..

You guys can do what you want. I only
Wanted suggestions on what to do about the car, not my relationship. If there were any springs that maybe didn't lower it so much or anything. Thanks

It's your life and your decisions to make bro you don't have to listen to what anybody on here has to say. But in regards to the springs if you have the eibach pro-kit, those are the smallest drop I have seen from my looking around. Another alternative would be to maybe cut your stock springs so that you can get less of a drop out of those. Best of luck with everything.

Cut the springs? Are you serious? Have you ever done that to a vehicle? I'd strongly advise against that OP. On the other hand, I agree. OP do what you want to keep yourself and her happy. My gf said something about the ride being a little harsh when I first lowered my car. She said, "do you like how stiff and harsh the ride is?" I said, "yup, the pros outweigh the cons on this one babe." And that was the end of it. But not everyone is like that. If it's this big of an ISSUE lol, just change them back out. But as was stated above, the pro kit is barely a drop. I have a 1.5" drop (it probably even settled more to 1.7ish or so) and I don't really have any problems. It's all in how you drive. You become accustomed to it. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

My car is low, and I have a helluva incline in my driveway at home, and the driveway leading to my my work parking lot. It's all in the angle.

I agree with UrMaster.

If this is how your GF acts now. It will only be much worse IF you 2 ever got married! Say goodbye to your balls, wallet, checkbook, etc... She will be holding all of them in her purse.

P.S. I do not claim to be a relationship expert. But I have been married to my first wife for 12+ years now. She's getting very close to 40 though, so I may be trading her in for a newer model year soon. (hence why I say "first wife" ) LOL

People really do become expert relationship/marriage counselors based on one scenario on this forum, don't they? lol.

A lot has to do with the way the OP described the situation and asking what to do. This is the internet so your going to have those kinds of answers but honestly 2 choices if he is being 100% truthful. Tell her it's his car and he can do as he pleases with it or he could change it back to make her happy. It's really that simple.

As others have said if she is being like this about a car (again if ops description is 100% accurate) and there not even married more then likely she is not compromising and pleasant about everything but the car and is probable worse with things that actually impact her day to day life. If that was me I would question my relationship and what kind of future there will be. I'm not married but when I do I want a partner not a boss to mico manage my life. It's one thing discussing things but the "change it or else" wouldn't fly with me.

1.5 inches really isn't that much. I've seen much lower cars and they function just fine.

Eibach pro kit just makes the car look normal and ride better, and just plain makes it look like a proper sports car. But if u can't drive it, w/o ripping things off, then it's not for u. If ur town has mostly crappy roads, then ur better off with a truck or something Click image for larger version

Sorry bro but where your balls at? Are u freakin kidding me man? You buy her an evo but she still "wants to drive your car too". Umm how about no? I'd tell her this is MY car that I paid for so tough ****. If she really wants to drive your car then tell her to deal with it, that's why she has her own. She has 0 authority on the matter. Some guys man I swear, letting their girls walk all over them. It's sad really your actually taking them off. U can just take your man card and toss it in the trash.
