Lowered

So my fiancé is pissed off now that my car is lowered and she says it will drag on everything. I've drug my side pipes two times over some big
Bumps but I can't get it in her head that she won't drag on everything. I got her that brand new 2014 evo but she still wants to drive my car sometimes. What do I do? Lmao she won't even talk to me because she is so mad/upset that I lowered

I'd tell her it's your car, not hers.

If you go VERY slow over almost all bumps you wont scrape. I am lowered on eibach sportlines.

I'm on eibach pro kit. The roads here in wv are ****. And both times it's been at a stoplight on an incline and has a curb at the top to get into the road. Also I can't pull into steep parking lots from the main road because she says I will "tear the front end off". She said we made an agreement when we bought her evo because we both love both cars that we could swap out sometimes. But now since I've lowered it and I drug with her inside the car she WILL NOT drivenit period. We haven't talked all day because she is so mad.

I don't know. I see this as a plus that she doesn't want to drive the car anymore.

Seriously? Its your f*cking car. You paid for it and that brand new EVO you just bought for her. [If I were you] I'd take the EVO keys and tell that b*tch to hit the road.

I'm lowered and I would never go back.

Girls can be touchy at times
And their nature wont let them let off too easy.

Just give it some time and it will just go back to normal.
Just le her know that its not a big deal.
Just go a little more careful on questionable areas,
and if something gets damage, its not the end of the world. You can fix it.

+1. It's YOUR car. Not hers. Tell her tough luck, and get over it. "Tear the front end off" LMAO!

Especially since you bought her a new car! She had no room to talk. Hey, since you bought it (the EVO) for her, trade it in, haha....

I know I tried to tell her I would
Fix it but she continued on to say that since I lowered it that SHe won't give it any special care that she will drive it exactly like she drives her car and if she scrapes anything that she will park it there. Call my work and make me come swap her. She's being a real biotch. And really immature

Haha yeah she really has an attitude problem. But usually only things like me making a decision that affects me and her sets her attitude off. It's dumb though guys, she wanted a new car because her truck was 12
Years old so I got her this one. We both picked it out and she loved
It. But it's like now she worries about what I'm doing
To my ride too much.

Borrow a friends truck and come home from work with it and when she asks, "what happened to the Mustang?" Tell her you traded it in for something with a little more ride height. See how she reacts to that!

Orrr.... you could slap the stock springs back on and sell those to me! My wife wants the car lowered. We both win in that situation!

This is kind of how my parents are with a tune. Absolutely will not do it. Even the freaking conservative FRPP tune, and btw, those are engineers that worked on the car! That is kind of annoying. The car is way too soft in low rpm's.

I still get a 3 year/ 36k warranty, and the factory warranty if it's determined the FRPP tune didn't damage it...

Mine would be so freakin pissed. Any suggestions to help try and convince them to let me get that tune?
The FRPP I think would be the only one they may ever let me get until the warranty actually expires. Then the Cobra Jet Manifold is going on.

Seriously. It's your car, you can mod it how you want. And if she says that she won't treat it nicely when driving it then she can't drive it. Simple as that. It's called respect.

I'd buy them off of you for the right price. How many miles are on them and how much do they lower the car? I think 1 inch in the front and 1.5 inches in the back right?

Also, how much was the install or did you do them yourself?

its your car man. If your girl has a problem with what you spent your money on and its your car... you got a long road ahead of you. She should respect your passion as you should with whatever hers is. RUN!! lol

No offense, but sounds like your fiancee is a spoiled brat. Now if you're into those, disregard the rest of this post. Otherwise, she needs a reality check. She should be thankful you let her drive your car (that you paid for), simple as that. Her last concern should be what you do to it and how it affects her. Not to mention you bought her her OWN vehicle, so its not like she's forced to drive your car.

I'm all or nothing, its hard to wear me down. Sounds like her b*tching and horrible excuse of a threat, "I'm going to treat it like sh*t with those springs," has already worn you down. Either that's how you're wired (which is fine), or eventually you're going to get tired of putting up with that sh*t.

If you decide that you do want to sell them I'd be interested in about a month or so. That should give your fiance enough time to change her mind if she is going to. I'm about to go on vacation so all my extra money will be going towards that.

By the way, your Fiance should be your number one priority. Don't get me wrong, I love cars as much if not more than most guys but in the end my wife makes me happier. You know what they say, "happy wife, happy life." Most of the guys on here telling you that she should shut her mouth are probably single or in terrible relationships. Just my two cents.

All this whining....So sell the junk import and if you insist on buying her a car get her a mustang of her own maybe set it on 26" rims so she has about a foot of ground clearance. Don't see why some guys feel the need to let someone else tell them what to do to there own car. Your not married yet she has no say so. Since you live with your parents I'm guessing you're young. Trust me when I tell you there are PLENTY of fish in the sea that will treat you and your things better. Do yourself a favor and do what you like to YOUR car and tell her to deal with it. If she continues being a nagging you know what then trade her in too. Plenty of hotties that would be eager to treat a guy like a king and not complain who treats them right and buys them a car lol
