Black all the way. You can't go wrong with black tips on any color car (in my opinion).

The only place I could find black tips for the Roush were Stage3Motorsports, however, they were out of stock. I ordered the chrome one last night from AM. I may get them powdercoated black in a couple of weeks.

Some guys have Plasti-dipped them with good results. A lot cheaper.

Will the PlastiDip hold up to that kind of heat?

Nope. Don't have any pics at the moment but I'll try to get one later.

They still look like day 1 before install.

Black. I got the Black Pype Bombs and LOVE the look. Be great on your color combo. Not a big chrome fan

That's awesome! And affordable!! lol Im not sure if I will like the black or the chrome better because I am a fan of chrome, but the greatest part of PlastiDip is that I can peel it right off if I don't like it!

Forgot to ask if you put the glossifier on them? I wasn't sure if that would make a difference when it came to heat.

I didn't put anything other than the plastidip. I figured the matte look it gives matches the license plate holding area as well as the rear mudflaps.

Took 3 quick pics. They're a little dirty at the moment but you can still get a good idea. I also dipped the chrome Ford faux gas cap surround.

If you're talking about the last pic, it's dust.

Those are clean! Looks like they came that way. Was it hard to get the inside completely dipped?

I have these. Nice on startup, and the low rpm's, but it's all engine noise above about 3K. I'm assuming deleting the resonators would give it more high end sound, so I will probably do that.

Go with the Roush with black tips instead OP.

Not hard at all. What I did was ball up a plastic shopping bag and put it in the tip to the depth I wanted to dip. After I finished my coats, I removed it and let it dry
