Mustangz Build Thread.

Best to just get rid of the part or person that'll cause an issue instead, or it'll just come back up eventually.

I've been following this thread anyway to see what you've got planned

You may want to look back and do a little more cleanup. Bread crumbs still exist.

True. Thanks man. I'll mainly be concentrating on appearance and suspension for now. Until I get the CJ manifold(or a FRPP supercharger) I'll be focusing on getting the power it has to the ground, and making it look better.

Just need to drive the rails off it and get out of warranty before engine mods can happen.

Good point. Yeah, you can delete that, and the list if you feel like it, as suspension may change a few times. Engine, it's either that or a Ford Racing Supercharger later.

Well, I drove home today from college. Now have 11,703 miles on it. And my parents(mainly mom) promptly start arguing with me about absolutely f*cking pointless sh*t. Makes me wonder why I even bother wasting my time driving down and back up to college.

Sorry for the minor rant yesterday. Also, I will be buying Michelin AS3 tires to replace the pirelli 275's I currently have. Just said that they are awful for braking, and the AS3's are less expensive and better tires.

Hey mustangz, I've got 2 Michelin A/S 3's for sale. 9/32 tread, so about 90% tread left. 275/40/19. I'll sell them cheap.

car looks great, the black wheels and exhaust tips are a nice touch.
I wouldnt worry about the 4x4 coments. Nobody but other Mustang freaks will notice or care. Chicks and regular civilians could give a $#@*. I lowered my 99,04 and 06 but dont plan on doing it to my14. Almost more trouble than its worth, I have 3 sets of springs laying around my garage now. And as we know mods wont get you an extra dime at resale time. I do recomend a strut tower brace, Ive got the BMR and you will feel the difference.

Mine came with a strut tower brace from the factory. All GT Premium's do. I'm getting the FRPP handling package, because the suspension is too soft for me, way too much body roll, nose dive, hate the stock wheel gap, etc.

Thanks for the offer man. I'd prefer to get them as a set of 4 though.

Coilovers, Torque Arm, Watts Link, solid lowers w/ bracket, STB.

With those mods you will have a badass handling car.

I don't think they make torque arms for my model year, and what's solid lowers with bracket?

They do. Look into Griggs Racing suspension parts. And the solid lowers are the lower control arms. Then with the relocation brackets.

"Solid" pretty much means non-adjustable.

I've subscribed to your build thread. I also want 500 NA on pump gas eventually. I'm going with the same engine setup.

Yeah, that's going to happen when my warranty is gone. Good thing I have some long drives planned.

Well you've got a job. Coilovers seem like the way to go though. How much harsher is the ride with them?

Right now I'm leaning towards the FRPP handling package, with the griggs torque arm, Watts Link, LCA's and relo's.
