Well, I finally decided to do a thread on my car. Won't be anywhere near as good as some if the past build threads.
So far I've done lighter wheels(RTR), and wider tires, still Pirelli all seasons though. RTR axleback, window tint, taillight tint, window louvers, Steeda black shorty antenna, and Ford OE unpainted hood vents.
I'm definitely new to nitrous overall, I know a little, but not much at all. Got the idea when I decided I'm going to go the NA route with my engine. Ported Cobra Jet Manifold, ported heads, cams, etc.
It's a high compression engine with already pretty high specific output. Now, nitrous loves high compression engines but pump fuel is the biggest limiting factor here. The amazing computational power of the Copperhead ECU, is what saves the day here. This engine wouldn't even start up on an ECM from even as little as 5-10 years ago. Now, adding oxygen in an uncontrolled way in such a high stress environment is a recipe for making the motor into yard art.
I should be placing an order for the RTR decklid soon. After I go to the DMV monday to retake the knowledge tests due to tickets and I'm 20, and then renew my license.
Well, just something I noticed today moving my car around in college... never noticed it before when no rain has happened. It was wet in the space under the car, and when I got done driving and parked again, I could hear drops sizzling after I got out. Any clue to what this could be? Oil or coolant leak? I have no idea. I would have gotten pictures, but my phone was low enough to where I couldn't take any. Eyeballing it, it looks like near the back if the engine bay, close to the firewall.
Money has been pretty tight lately, and with no luck finding a job, I haven't had much spending money. That being said, I finally ordered the RTR Decklid panel today. Shipping tomorrow.
Decklid is on. Seems like it wasn't cut great, red from the trunk lid shows through on the bottom, and the sides barely cover the trunk lid. Doesn't bother me that much though.
Any idea what would make a tire tilt out when fully turned? I'd think it's camber or just needs an alignment, because unless my steering wheel turns all the way left or right, the tires stay vertical with no outside tilt.
Hey mustangz how does your boss side exhaust sound with your RTR axle backs? I'm really considering getting the boss sides locally for $350. I'm tired of my MagnaFlow quads street being too quiet. I think the RTR are the same as quiet as the magnaflows.

Get them, and make sure you remove the exhaust baffles in them. It sounds great. Yes the RTR street spec is pretty much the exact same as the MagnaFlow street.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
