I been looking at the Paxton 2200SL for my 2012 mustang 5.0 so my question is can I run 600wrhp on stock internals NOT a drag car daily driver dyno queen so I want be taking it to the track now later down the road I will get all forged internals and hit 800rwhp but right now while I'm close to everything in Texas I have access to some good shops for tunes so help me out guys ?

My suggestion is go for the Paxton 2200SL kit from Beefcakeracing that I posted in the other thread. It will be right around 600WHP - An absolute monster on the streets, and has the potential down the road to turn it up to 800-1000+ WHP... Its stupid FUN at 600WHP and should be fine on stock internals.. But again, nothing is set in stone, anything can happen when you start modding, so have some money saved up if shes decides to pop! Have fun!

90% of the people who say they will go forged never will.

If you are looking for 6-700 the vortech will be alot more efficient than the Paxton

This is a quote I took from Terry Reeves from Teambeefcakeracing.

"(Paxton 2200SL) it isn't a "better" head unit, it's a larger head unit.

If you are only looking for power in the 525-600rwhp, the vortech will be closer to its peak efficiency.

it should be a little more responsive down low on the base kit.

The paxton has more room to grow, but that doesn't make it a "better" head unit.

The vortech with supporting mods will take you around the 700-750 rwhp range maxing it out

the 2200 will take you to over 1000rwhp"

Where'd you get that stat from? Just curious. I know a lot of people thrown around the idea like it's nothing on the forums.

Just the truth. Most people who talk about it will never do it.
