Do I need to move the isolators on these springs Down to were they will be touching the strut? They are glued on, and I do not want to move if I shouldn't. Just concerned about metal on metal.. Thanks

You need two isolators on ea coil spring. One touches the very bottom of the coil where it rests on the strut. The one glued to the coil purposely put on the second and third coil because without them they cause coil bind. It's a not am attractive sound going over bumps.

Thanks for explanation. Could I just wrap the bottoms with electrical tape? I saw were others have been doing this, which doesn't mean it would work..

No. You'll get noise. Just take the old ones off your stock springs.

No prob. I learned the hard way. I chased around that sound for about 6 months before I realized what it was.
