what to do? horsepower? exhaust?

Hello all, Im new to the forum and also new to making improvements to my mustang as far as motor work goes. Im looking to add horsepower and a deeper growl type sound. What are key ways to add hp without spending a whole lot of money? What would be a good exhaust set up without relpacing the whole system? Im really into flows. any advice??

Good exhaust without spending a lot. GT500 axleback, flowmaster exhaust drones a lot. Parts for engine, CAI (cold air intake) and tune.

Go to AmericanMuscle.com and look at 2011-2014 Parts. I'm sure you will find over 5Gs of car parts you will want. They cover everything and anything, + Free shipping & Handling as well as price matching, and even a 6% discount on here if you ask a AM employee for all your purchases. Can't go wrong with AM, Perfect CS and solid products.

Some people. Shoot, mines at 8k then, add the oil pump gear, I didn't take that into account. Can't believe I forgot.

But yeah, having an NA coyote near 500 HP is great. I'll bump the redline up to 7.5K.

Yea different people's idea of "a lot" varies. For me being 19 and in college with 35k in loans already the 9k I've spent modding my car is "a lot" lol

Dang. I'd have a ton of work to do to have that happen to me.

I want the super 44 or the outlaws. I got two 12s so hopefully the drone won't matter. But what other brands produce that sound without the drone. Really really need somebody to point me in the right direction when it comes to a body kit.

Honestly I have outlaws and the drone really isn't bad. If you are in the 2-3k range and accelerating it is there but I'm right in that range on the highway and with cruise on my wife and I can talk just fine. Hope that helps

05 Gt Premium Performance White, flowmaster outlaws, Jlt Series 3, Bama 91r tune
