Ford sync usb

Is there any other way to connect your usb device besides saying "usb" every single time? Gets annoying. Any buttons I can push to do the same thing or....?

I was looking for the same thing as well, and I didn't have any luck. I just leave my second iPod in the car so it stays on the 'USB' setting. I only have to say USB when I unplug it. If you figure out that annoying "SYNC was unable to index all music, etc. etc." garbage, let me know (

yes, if you hit the aux button (below the CD button) and then scroll the knob to 'select USB' it will activate whatever is plugged into the USB port.

I will try that in the morning, and if that truly works, I'm forever in your debt! Haha

haha no worries, and trust me it works. Thats how I play my music through my phone every time I'm in the car. You can also scroll through playlists, artists, etc through the same scroll button depending what you have connected.

I took and put all of my songs on a little low profile USB flash drive. Leave it plugged in, rather than plugging in & out phone or ipod.

Something small like this, that doesn't stick out in the way!
