I recently got my mustang, also it's not "rich" I'm assuming 60k is enough for the project.

Fair enough, just sounds a little weird. If I'm wrong, I'll apologize.

So, full exhaust + hellion tt + stock boss motor @ 16lbs = 910rwhp

Kinda want to sell my 5.0 and get a boss and go that route. I know there are still brand new bosses out there...lol, but the plan is to get a snake of a different breed!
Don't be blind they did more than just a exhaust and twins

I hope he being real. I would like to watch someone with a 1,000 hp build. Sounds neat.

On the topic of 1,000 hp: I'm aware you'll need a forged bottom end, larger fuel injectors and pump, FI and its necessary parts itself, suspension work, bigger brakes(?), but what about the transmission and rear end?

Will the 8.8 hold up to 1,000 hp? How about the clutch or torque converter? Never got to researching the nitty gritty on those.

Rap you've done it, I'm hoping you can chime in here.

The 8.8 is fairly strong. If you plan to launch the car on sticky tires the axle tubes need to be welded.

If you got one of the lucky MT82s it can last a good amount of power, but if it's like the average MT82 then don't count on it. Rap seems to have gotten one of the lucky ones lol.

The rest...... Suspension suspension suspension suspension

All you really need for the 8.8 is stronger axles, weld the axle tubes, and arp wheel studs
