Auto Shifting Weird

So my wife's 2014 GT auto has an odd hesitation when slowly accelerating around 40mph. It feels like the transmission can't make up its mind for a second. Is anyone else having this issue? It has around 31,000 miles on it.

After more looking around, this seems to happens to a lot of 2014 mustangs both V6 and GT. People have reported dealers saying it is there but not damaging anything, and others reported an aftermarket tune can stop this problem while doing all of the other improvements that come with a tune.

A tune will take care of it for sure.

I am having the same issue and have been since about 7K miles. It's annoying. I shouldn't have to spend $300 on an aftermarket tune in order to fix it. Ford should issue a TSB with a better transmission tune.

I agree. However, a tune is on my short list so I'm not too worried about it.

Proper auto tune makes all the difference compared to stock. Plus the added torque down low is a huge plus. Tune and never look back.
