Never had Invos but the Street Comp are very sticky. The sticky compound works great in a straight light and I can definitely feel the rear sticks more on corners.

And I got these 305/35/20s for $191 a piece vs $300+ for the Invos.

The previous Nitto 555s 285/35/20 would whip the rear out completely if I'm not absolutely careful on the throttle but these MT I can go half throttle or more and the rear sticks pretty well with just a very good controlled slide and then gun it balls to the walls once the turn is done even if I'm still sliding a bit it'll hook up shortly and go.

Half throttle on the 555 and my *** slides way out. Hell at quarter throttle my rear end slides out. I hate those tires.

Lol ok. Any other suggestions for a summer/track grippy tire? I only included invo's because it seems a lot of people have them. But that's why I'm hear, to learn what's good and what isn't. Especially with something as significant as tires.

That's good to know Dallas. The street comps were my first choice. Seems like an all around decent tire. The reviews on them were all excellent as well, but I don't put a lot of stock in that. I'll be driving my mustang 3 seasons so I wanted something that would last at least a few seasons. I also don't drive a lot. I've put on 5700 since February and the car will be garage in about a month or so, whenever we get smashed with snow

Cool, I know what I'm going with for tires lol. Just need to find the right wheels now. Street comps are actually decently priced as well. Big +

Yeah from my experience with Nittos and their tendency to run narrow fok them. There's something principally wrong about making smaller tires than advertised. Kinda like the Big Mac. It ain't that big and the two patties are about the size of two slices of bologna so how the hell can you call it a BIG Mac?

Lol. Perfect. There are so many options in every facet of modifying the modern mustang. Narrowing down which tires I'm going to go with is a win.

I'm sure they're horrible for drag racing, which I don't do. But for me, they're quiet, comfortable, and have good grip.. Win-win.

I went to the strip twice this summer and am thinking about going again on the 18th, so I'm sort've in the same boat? 90/10 DD-dragging. I'd like a super grippy tire, and one that lasts. I know it's very tough to find a happy medium with those needs/wants

I would eat McD more except they don't actually sell food there. The only real food they have are the lettuce and tomatoes. The onions are suspect even lol.

Take a careful bite of the meat. It's not a consistency of any other meat patty I have ever had. Supposedly they use a combo of ground meat and some silicone based mixture. Not to mention their nugget mix.

If you get a McGangBang the only thing get DPed is your stomach lol
