I've spent hours reading threads on the boss 302 manifold. Ranging from its worthless to it makes 20+whp after 5800rpms. So ofcourse I don't know what to think. People says its a waste if you drag but worth it if you roll race or do highway stuff, which is what I'm into. Drags just aren't my thing. Idk
My real question is how high I should rev with the 6sp select shift auto to get the most out of my boss 302 without going higher than suggested for long life? I read somewhere ford claims the 5.0 motors can run all day at 7200rpms. Any thoughts on this guys??? I've read the whole point of the boss is to get tuned and rev a little higher otherwise its useless?? Everyone seems to have a different opinion.
