Xpipe too raspy?

So I recently put long tube headers and an x pipe on my 5.0. It's been too raspy and now I'm regretting my decision. Any suggestions on what I could do? I'm guessing they don't make a shorty h pipe. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thank you

I'd like my car to sound somewhat decent. Just wondering if there were other suggestions, no need to insult me

Not insulting. You should know if your putting LT on with Offroad X there is obviously going to be rasp. Your best choice is to get new axlebacks for a different tone. lmao

Just buy an H-Pipe from the same manufacturer as the headers then.

Are they actual mufflers of more like oval resonators? Magnaflow makes factory-like square mufflers as well as a straight through oval muffler. There is a night and day difference between the two. If you have the oval/ straight pipes you may want to get a new cat back that has more of an actual muffler on it to give it a better tone. Although expensive, you could probable sell what is on the car now to help offset the cost.

Yes, they are oval, so I'm guessing they're straight through resonators. Maybe I should try some different axlebacks with an actual muffler. Any suggestions?

There's a link to a bunch of catbacks for reference below; it sounds like you have the competition series. I love the way mangnaflow mufflers sound, I have the street series on my V6 and love them although I've had them other my older Camaro that had LT headers and off road pipes and the magnaflow mufflers really toned it down to where it was obviously loud but had a nice tone with minimal rasp.

I would listen to sound clips and see if there are any in particular you like but either mangnaflow, borla, or even the GT500 mufflers should get rid of most of the rasp and give it a nice loud tone.
