It's all personal preference or what you're looking to get out of Mustang. Convenient tunes, hybrid tunes, pure-performance tunes, track tunes, etc. Some tuners are specifically good at tuning certain things like specific transmission, engines, FI, etc.

You really just have to do some research. I don't think there's one big boss tuner out there that knows it all.

I'm driving a manual and I saw with bama I could tune it for like daily driving and then switch it back on days I want more power with just hitting a button. And didn't know if other company's offered that or if something else was better or cheaper.

After tons and tons of reading and research I'm going with Shaun at AED. I truly believe after all that I've read there's just non better. But that's my opinion based on my research. Your car I just advise you spend a lot of time truly reading and soaking in the info. Understand what you want and what you're getting.

Not true at all. There is no "button" that you speak of. The tunes are loaded onto a tuning device and then you plug the device into your obd2 port on your car and download the tunes. The tuning device saves the stock file and your car can be returned to stock by repeating the same process. This works the same way with any tuning company.

Did BAMA tell you that? If so, it's a flat out lie. The "Button" is the device. You have to set it back to stock, then upload the other tune.

Yes I'm sorry you plug it in and then you hit a button that downloads the tune and from what I'm told the Bama tuner keeps a few files on the device so you can plug it in and change it at any time. Either way I like that concept and was curious if other companies had better layouts and tunes.

I think Steeda does. Fyi, all tuner devices hold multiple tunes.

Bama does not make the tuner, just the tunes. The most popular "tuning devices" are SCT and Diablosport.

Every email tuning company's tunes are downloaded and removed the exact same way.

I would recommend going with the Bama X4 Tuner as your device. That will be the most simple and user friendly option out there for you!

As for the actual custom tunes.. I don't think you can go wrong, honestly! There is a ton of really awesome tuners out there. I would be happy to hook you up with a set of Bama Custom tunes for your Coyote for sure! I've run Bama on all of my personal Mustangs and have always been extremely happy. We have thousands of really happy customers who have been enjoying Bama for many years!

We'll basically have you fill out 19 questions about your specific modification and what your intentions for the Mustang are. From there we'll write you 3 Custom Tunes, load them to the device and ship it out to your location and you just have to plug and play! After that we would be happy to datalog with you and make sure your tune is dialed in and everything is performing the way you'd like.

Feel free to hit me up with any questions you may have! You can shoot me a PM at any time. Also, our Bama team is here all day and will gladly answer any questions you can throw at them! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Hope this helps. Check out the Bama teams new site as well to see what they've been up to! Bama Performance - Home

It's not as convenient as it sounds. It takes like 15-2000 minutes to swap tunes.
