Cool License Plate Frame

I've been on a search for a while for a decent looking license plate frame for my car. I really liked the design of my dealer frame and contacted the manufacturer, but they wouldn't sell me an individual frame in plain black.

I scoured all of the internets looking for a decent looking plain black frame but couldn't find one that I liked. I recently stumbled upon this little gem on Ebay. It's a nice quality 4 hole ABS frame that is actually CNC machined on the back. It comes with a domed gel emblem in either red or blue.

I went with the blue to accent my paint. I like the clean symmetrical look and the bold borders of this frame.

Like I said, I was originally set on plain black but the "5.0L Coyote" between the Roush exhaust tips actually turned out to be a nice touch IMO.

I like those 5.0 Coyote frames. We in NC have a pretty strict law that says you have to be able to read the state name across the bottom, which forced all the dealers to redesign them with a smaller area across the bottom for text. I wonder if this frame is NC legal..... Not bad for $15

How well does that stay on, it doesn't look like it has anything to screw in at the bottom of the frame.

There is no bottom portion on the 99-04s. It's weird. Just 2 on the top

That is. I was looking at a Ford Racing license plate frame for my 13, and noticed it only had the top 2 holes for screws. That just seems odd that the bottom wouldn't have any.

Yeah that's one thing I noticed in my searches. The majority of the frames out there only have 2 holes. I even ordered an expensive $38 4 hole metal frame from CariD prior to this, only to find out that it was cheap and tinny. They were great about the return to their credit though.

I'm more than pleased with this ABS frame for the $14.24 I paid.

Mine was like $20 and I like it. Should go well with my custom plate as soon as the DMV gets their act together and gets it to me.

Sweet deal. After I got my Mustang I knew I had to have a vanity plate to finish it off. It's all about the details...

Cool License Plate Frame

I got this! Black painted metal with an off white/cream enamel filled logo and type. You can get silver ones too. Better than advertising your dealer. Click image for larger version

I had wanted to put a frame from Mark Martin's Ford dealership in Batesville, AR on my Mustang, but the bottom portion was wide and would cover the writing on my Wisconsin license plate that says Vehicle Collector, and I didn't want to give that up.
