Brembo brakes

Hello I just bought my first Mustang, it's a 2013 Mustang gt with manual transmission! I'm looking at getting new rims but want to add aftermarket brembo brakes (lime green with black rims) is there a certain measurement I need to look for on the rims to fit over the brakes?

Unfortunately there's not a specific offset that will clear the brembo calipers. It's all dependent on the design of the wheels.

The best bet is to figure out a list of rims that you like and then call up several retailers as well as confirming with the manufacturers of the wheel will fit.

I called up a manufacturer for one wheel that I liked and the rep there didn't sound very convinced himself so I had to call up a couple other retailers.

I'm just advising that sometimes you can't trust just one source. I ended up getting my wheels that's carried by American Muscle. They apparently test all wheels and tires packages they sell on all range of mustangs.

I got the SHELBY CS40s

There is a template out there that you can print out and hold up to the wheels to see if they clear. I saw it on an amazon listing for the Brembo's one time. It was a .pdf file to print out & cut out with scissors.

Unless they're specialty wheels, the ones offered by AM and LMR usually list if they fit Brembo or not.
