deerslayer showed how to blacken them. Use 40 grit sandpaper wrapped around the pipe. Then use acetone and scotch brite pad (blue or green) and clean everything well. Then distilled water. Use another scotch brite pad and wipe the tips with Caswell stainless steel blackener. Let it dry and lightly coat the tips with used motor oil (blacker the better). I left mine on for 48 hrs then wiped them down. They look great and I spent $30.00. I will try to post a pic soon.
