Went with LongTubes Xpipe Resenator deletes and GT500 quads in my opinion it sounds perfect
To me Roush Axles backs are made to have them by themselves
Otherwise it just gets ridiculous

Exactly the sort of info I'm looking for, thanks. Yea, currently running catless but I intend to put some on. Probably a catted H or X pipe at this point but I agree it's itense. From what I've heard it's a toss up at this point. I like the sound of Roush ab's with a resonator delete, kinda thinking a pypes setup as well. Seem to be getting the same if not more agreement with the thought of the Roush setup. Should be starting to pick up parts after christmas. Gotta buy toys for the little brothers first

Honestly I think the roush sound good with no cats. My friend has bbk long tubes and bbk shorty x with roush and it sounds amazing IMO, I feel the way you do with roush about pype bombs, I think pype bombs only sound good by themselves

If the station doesn't do a visual of the cats, or can't tell the difference between a cat and a resonator, or just think you have a cool car and don't give a ****, they'll pass. In states like NJ, they just plug into a computer and check for DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes). If none show up, they slap a sticker on the window and see you in 2 years. And inspection is free lol. I've read about some of the stuff other states do... um no...

What does VA do for inspection? Do you know?

VA is visual then they do the emissions test thing... unless you know the person doing your emissions or have a hook up or something you will fail with no cats, at least in my area in Fairfax County.

But it is possible to find people who WILL pass you, but you have to look for them

Why would. You need them then? The DMV sight says nothing about Suffolk needed them.

You need your cats in Virginia, I've been through this and gone to multiple shops/emissions stations only one would install the offroad x pipe and he said he would pass me too but at a price.

You need your cats per federal law...

Not sure why this is so hard... if you live in a state that inspects you need cats to pass said inspection or at least something that looks like you have cats if all it is is a visual without a sniffer.
