While putting on my boss 302 diffuser today, I noticed a little bit of leakage by the bell housing and axle tube seam. I'm lowered 1.5" all around. I noticed this is even before I lowered the car. This a normal thing? I can't imagine it would be...any help or insight is appreciated.
It's a valve on top of the axel that leaks when there's pressure in the axel. Or so I was told. I had the same thing. Only thing they did was clean it up and checked oil level.
Bean counters determined that if you needed one you could come back and complain, then come back when the part came in and spend half a day at your dealer for it to be installed if you wanted not to have gear lube jumping out all over your fuel tank, trunk floor and exhaust. A minor inconvenience, right?.
Lol yeah I just ordered the 6$ hose and fitting and slapped it on in 20 degree weather today. No biggy lol.
