K&N AirCharger 63-2578 - Reviews??

Was browsing K&N's website today. Came across a CAI sold direct through them for a 2014 Mustang GT. I'm intrigued by this model because it has a closed off chamber, which should keep the hot air from the engine compartment out, where as other manufacturers do not. I had sent back the Roush CAI to AM because intake temps were 70 degrees hotter than external temps, and thus the whole concept itself was debunked.

My questions are, has anyone purchased this air charger from K&N? And how has it performed? How do IATs respond with the unit? And finally, is a tune required? I don't see where AM sells this on their site.

Thanks in advance.

Yes performance wise in pretty stock. I think CAI in theory make absolute sense. It's the execution by the manufacturers that is flawed in most cases. Keeping the hot air out is the biggest challenge, and this closed off model looks to do the part.
