I purchased a used 2011 GT manual about a month ago. It has a JLT CAI and from what I've read on the forum, it appears that it would require a tune with this intake. I assume the original owner did a tune, but how can I know for sure? Would I be having issues if it wasn't tuned? Car runs great and pulls hard. No issues to speak of so I'm assuming it was tuned.

When my car was not tuned and had the jlt on it would not even run. You can take the intake off and see if there is an insert buy I don't think jlt offers that. I would assume you are tuned
Ditto, unless there is some sort of insert which I'm not aware JLT has,the car will barely even idle so if it runs well your tuned. I've never understood people that trade in their tuned car without either including the programmer or flashing it back to stock. Kind of a dick move IMO and screws the next owner.
It's an insert that goes in the intake tube to make it "smaller" to match the original air box flow so you can continue to use the stock tune with it. That's why some don't require a tune. But if you do tune it, you'd remove that insert they have.
