Finally about to order a supercharger!!

I've narrowed my supercharger choices down to two things.
A VMP stage 2 supercharger 6700$

Paxton/vortech centrifugal
supercharger 6300$.

They're both good reliable superchargers. I'm looking for at least 600 hp.

I know both are capable but which which would you guys pick?

(I don't want nitrous so don't even mention it please)

I've already got my suspension ready for the power minus my new shocks and struts.

Which one will cause less stress on my engine because I'm wanting to stay stock internals?

Which company has a better track record? Any blown engines?

I appreciate your guys input and will be ordering in about 2 weeks after I get some opinions and facts. Thanks!

This is just my opinion, but I would much rather go turbo and hopefully buy more time with my stock bottom end. I guess it also depends on the tune, but that instant hit of torque seems to have some negative side effects. Possibly less of a chance with the Paxton style?

I have spent way too much time going between turbo, TVS and Vortech. The Vortech has a smaller impeller than the Paxton. I have compared several dyno charts between the TVS and centrifugal types. At 3,000 rpms they both put out the same hp. Both were tested on the same car. I have decided to go with this one for my A6 car. The Beefcake Special Vortech V3 - Deatschwerks - 800 Horsepower Complete 2011-2014 5.0 Kit
I may install a slightly higher stall converter. We shall see how it launches with the stock converter.

I have a 2013 RTR,with a Paxton & T-56xl & I love the set-up. It feels stock until around 3k+ RPM & she pulls really hard all the way to about 6500. I am on Paxton's tune and looking to get a bit more out of it by installing a CAI, BAP, and an x-pipe with a Lund tune in the next month. My car has 11k miles and it has had the Paxton on since 1k. I love driving the car, as it feels stock until you punch it. As far as blowing the engine, it is all going to depend on how you drive it and your tune more so then the manufacture. The tunes that come with the kits are going to be conservative, they don't want the bad press. I am on stock internals as well and hope I never blow the engine, but it is a risk when you add any FI. Good luck on your decision.

Looks like I'll be purchasing a vortech vibe heard noting but good things about them and not a single problem.
